Delkin DDMNT TRIPLE Gecko Three Arm Suction Review

I was so excited to get this product after the great reviews. Needless to say I was very disappointed that I almost lost my new (3 day old) GoPro due to the mount falling off the car. The GoPro is badly scratched and the viewfinder has a huge crack in the glass. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

It was really good, just go ahead and try it. I pay a lot of attention to the negative reviews I've been waiting for almost a year to get this setup. It's nice and stable with excellent suction power. I use a Sony A7R IV. Really love this tackle. I use it in my car. The only downside is the price, the plastic is excellent quality but $100 is a little pricey.

I expected a solid aluminum housing for the price. But no, at least 75% of it is plastic, and it shakes in the wind just by connecting a 2-foot extension to my action cam. Yes, the tiny action cam is superior to this giant suction cup mount. If they used aluminum I would buy another one or two. For other cameras you have to look for another brand.

I used this to mount a 360 degree camera on the roof of my car while driving through the parks. He kept it steady and had no problem at speeds over 50 mph. I made this specifically for using my DSLR on the mount. The problem is that the corners don't allow the camera to sit over the mount, so you'll have to hang it upside down and adjust the video in post. Luckily, my camera reverses the image in the viewfinder, but sitting lower than I'd like creates an unflattering upward angle in the driver's seat.
