Black Delphi DC20009 Distributor Cap Review

This product didn't set my truck on fire. I put the old OEM part back in and everything worked. Left a message with the seller with no response.

Seemed to work fine but I had issues with the distributor independent of it. I chose Delphi as most of my ignitions and engine compartment are Delphi so they will most likely be OEM parts for my Sonoma.

Delphi is usually the same as AC Delco. This is not a cover, it looks like other cheaper fakes. it has aluminum contacts and does not stick well to the distributor drive,

The quality and durability of the materials surpass even the most expensive spare parts. I'm a professional mechanic and have found this brand to be the only one that doesn't fail after a short lifetime.

Dist. Cap for my 2001 S10 Blazer. The original lasted 19 years, still works but the internal connections are pretty crusty. The replacement fits and works perfectly. Hope to be with him for another 20 years.

The cap is not made of brass, which I did not see before buying it. The frames are metal but not aluminum, which is good. But my 4.3 Vortex misfires unless I use a brass cap and rotor. The BraveX has a good performance cap and a set of brass rotors for a really great price. I recommend these because they should last a long time. Packaging and delivery were good.

Works flawlessly so far. The part of the autozone that completely failed while driving was replaced. The Autozone part made the truck overshoot a bit from the day I put it on a new one, so I figured the problem was something else until my truck finally died on the side of the road. After replacing this OEM branded cover, it runs smoothly even when I drive through flooded roads the day after installation. It didn't last long for me, but as an OEM, I expect it will.
