Delta 55424 BL ActivTouch 9 Setting Handshower Review

We love this item as we decided to add it to our shower which has a main head, large rain head and hand block. Each has its own valve/controller separately. The only thing we couldn't find was the option for this unit to have a wall mount on the handlebars instead of just a small rounded connection.

Another quality product from Delta. Reliable buttons allow you to quickly and easily select one of the 9 spray modes. I particularly like the stainless steel hose that hangs right out of the box. The mount is heavy and fits perfectly onto the sprayer handle without moving when the water is turned on. I will buy another one after the bathroom renovation.

Works well to the max. The buttons seem like a good idea for changing the water mode. flow etc. until they start to stick. I installed it at the end of December and after 2 months in February a button started sticking. Now 2 are glued. I contacted Delta as it is under warranty. I hope they did something to solve the problem. I see from other reviews that my problem is not isolated.

We were looking for a good PDA for our newly designed lifeguard but it must be convenient, a pause button, as well as a good push since we're using a portable to wash two of our standard rescue poodles. I've read low pressure reviews but found that removing the small o-ring at the top of the filter solves the pressure problem, making it a great portable device.

I have a bit of physical limitations so I need a shower I can use without wasting water moving from one thing to another. The button does not shut off the water completely, but significantly reduces the flow. I love the different stream combinations available and how easy it is to use - just click a button. I have a diverter on my faucet and this was the best option I could find. So far I am very, very satisfied.

Be careful. This model requires you to drill two holes in the shower screen to mount the bracket that holds the hand held shower head in place. This is unlike any other shower head I've seen before. In most cases, shower screens are ceramic tiles that require a special drill and the holes will remain permanent. Bought this as part of a 3 way system for our bathroom renovation and I have to say it's not worth the money. I paid about $115 and I'd say that's about $40-50 too much - the case is plastic, as is the wall mount. The pause button doesn't turn it off completely, but I've never used a button that actually turned it off. There seems to be some kind of limitation in the head and I'm trying to figure out how to remove it to see how it affects the pressure when it works with the other two…

The listing price for this shower head is ridiculous! I paid a lot less and it's worth the price I paid but not the retail price listed at the moment. I replaced my fixed shower head with this one to make showering easier. The water pressure and flow through the various settings are perfect, and the high-pressure setting makes cleaning easier. It slides in and out of the mount smoothly and easily and stays in place when you need to turn it left or right. Some of its parts are of decent quality,
