My grandson loves this book and it's a great way for kids to learn about different tools. The only downside is that the first fist broke and I ended up buying another one.

This book is beyond words. The music played by each instrument is like hearing the instrument itself. Really cool book.

Our 2 year old loves this book. We didn't have any audio issues with this particular book as some of the reviews mentioned, but we ordered the Ocean version and understood why there were so many negative reviews. We may have been lucky with that.

The instrument sounds in this book are the finest, most accurate, most satisfying sounds you will ever hear in a children's music and sound book, and I'm not kidding. No sound or breakage issues x 2 years. Best suited for 12-24 months because they understand how to make sounds but I would recommend it for all ages.

This item was a birthday present. It arrived with one of the Velcro, sewn on, circles came off. I reattached it with glue. After the handover, deposited with the recipient within one day, the rod comes unsewn and the filling comes out. The whole book is one page. in general. someone screwed it up. For the $ amount I paid for this book, this is inexcusable.

I love the sound of this grandkids book but we can't keep buying it if it won't play. One came with no working batteries so we invested in batteries. Now my sweet 2 year old granddaughter has returned it to me and has been asking for new batteries again and after replacing them I climbed back in to find the cord was broken. I could fix that too if I had an extra hour a day, but should I invest in a third for a newborn?

This product would have received five stars if one of the instruments (saxophone) had not stopped working a few months after purchase. This is unsatisfactory for such an expensive item. Otherwise my grandson loves it but we have to say the saxophone is "broken" at every sight. Also, this is the second time I have bought this book. As a musician, I like that the sounds of the instruments aren't super out of tune and that lately each instrument is playing something appropriate for itself. (Rondo alla Turk Mozart for piano, Vivaldi's Spring for violin, Bach's solo suite for cello).
