I bought this for my son who has medium length hair. His hair isn't long enough for a ponytail, but it always catches his face. He plays tennis and cooks and is perfect for him.

Bought this for my daughter to play football so her bangs don't fall on her face. It remains bound fairly securely throughout the game. The only complaint she has is that she tends to curl up a bit, but personally I think it might be because she wipes the sweat off her face.

They are not thick like silk material but my grandson loves them because they are comfortable and he wears them every day.
