I am an adult who recently had Damon Speed braces fitted. This wax is perfect for me for a number of reasons: it's harder than typical orthodontic waxes, and although you need to press a little longer for it to stick, it sticks better and lasts longer. This wax is very strong and not as soft as other waxes. This brand was available in pharmacies and other outlets about a year ago, then the sale was discontinued. Hm? I'm glad to know that Revane has it!

This wax is THE BEST mouthguard ever! Keeps you in shape all day! My orthodontist gave me wax which melted after a few hours.😬 I drank so much wax I thought I'd just have to swallow a string and I could poop candles. Never had a problem like this with DenTek wax!

This stuff works and it's nice that it's minty but it's so heavy compared to the wax I get from orthotics. For this reason I hardly used it.

I've only had braces for a week and am using the wax my orthodontist gave me. It gets nice and soft in my hands, just enough to wrap around my braces but firm enough that it doesn't melt when I'm drinking hot tea or eating hot food. This product is so hard that I can hardly roll it into a ball with my fingers and palm. I have to press really hard to make it stick to the braces (not a very comfortable feeling with bad teeth).

It was difficult to cut and because it was very hard I had to press very hard on the braces to get it to stick. I felt like I would have to break my braces to make them last. Wouldn't buy again.

I've had braces for a long time and I usually get archwires pierced after fitting them, so this wax comes in very handy. The gel type is great, especially for front teeth, as it makes lips grow easier than other wax types.

I don't have braces. But I have a face mask that I use in bed at night. It irritates my gums sometimes so I wanted something I can use to block gum irritation. Unfortunately this is not the case. Other waxes I've used become flexible as you use the heat of your fingers to manipulate them. It's just difficult. Didn't help my gum irritation problem.
