It is more red than the the image shows. I mean, it is brown. But it is a very reddish brown. Pretty bright color. Not muted at all.

Very nice quality belt! I have owned other mock lizard belts and this one looks and feels more like the real thing. The buckles and belt loops are also a very nice quality as well.

This is a beautifully designed belt and appears to be much more expensive than what I paid for it. As an individual in my seventies, I felt I knew what size I wore, but heeded the advice of the reviews, and ordered one size larger than what I wear. I wear a 36 so I ordered a 38 and it fits perfectly as if I had it hand made specifically for me. I am quite pleased with this belt and will consider giving them as gifts for my sons and grandsons.

The materials on this belt are very good for the price. You should know that the inside of this belt is unfished calfskin leather which doesn't bother me ( you can't tell when it is being worn), I actually like it because it seems to keep the belt from moving or sliding when it is being worn. I've had this belt now for a very long time, probably 3 years or more. Now I love the belt. BUT the belt started to separate. The belt is made from two distinct pieces of leather "glued" together and over time the pieces began to separate at different points. But I loved the look of the belt some much I had it mended by a local shoe and leather repair shop who sewed/stitched the two leather pieces permanently together.

These are handsome belts (I have the Alligator Brown one as well). The inlay on the buckle and guides is a nice detail as well. The only thing I wish were different, and it's a minor detail, is the inside is a pale tan color -- not the same color as the outside.

Bought two of these belts, one in black and one in brown. They look and feel great. They look more expensive than the price paid, and that's good. True test is how they hold up but so far it's been well worth the money. No bonded leather in these babies. Full grain leather. Should last a long time, at least that's what I hope.
