I have fine hair. I have 4C, real African coarse hair that cannot be comb through. I have broken over 1000 combs in my life but this brush is AMAZING! As written in the description, pour water and voila, comb. Now I will buy this for all my friends with natural hair for Christmas. Works great, doesn't pull or shed too much hair. LOVE IT.
