Corcrown smells worse than Mom making salmon patties.

Holy cow! That thing smells like poop. Yes. Thats so bad. Smells like cardboard or worse. I've used it a few times and I absolutely hate the smell or smell. I make my own beard oils and waxes and this smell is ridiculously unpleasant. I slowly melted it in a tub of hot water with the lid on tight and added some lavender and vanilla hoping it would make a decent night time product but it still smells awful. Wow. Consistency is perfect. I was looking for a leave-in conditioner product, but it's…

More courage is not possible!

I bought this for the hubs. He has several Detroit Grooming Co products. Here's his take: You've hit the scent of Corktown. Cedarwood, sweet pipe tobacco and vanilla are the perfect masculine blend. He loves to. I love it. In addition to this product, he also tried Corktown Beard Oil and Cedar Springs Beard Oil. Can't decide between beard oil or beard oil? Khabs says the oil is applied a little more gently than the oil. The solid body also makes it a better option when you are traveling. He…

Good oil, pleasant smell

Beard oil for the second time and Detroit hair care for the first time. I love the feel of the oil and the way it leaves my beard. I don't like this scent. Never smelled tobacco. I don't know why I took it if I don't like the tobacco smell. And that smell is strong. The scent doesn't last all day, which is a plus. I could just try their unscented oil. The quality is good though, so maybe I'll try it again, just not in a cork town.

The scent is good but strong FYI. DGC Oils #1

Smell is as advertised but strong and long lasting (so you better like it or wash it out. They sell DGC sample kits which I highly recommend). All DGC oils are top notch, your skin and beard will just eat it up. I don't even care about anyone but DGC, btw, 7 inch beard. Use this on a damp beard at night and wake up with a full beard to brush through.

Butter is excellent, the flavor is just amazing.

Excellent oil, smells like a Yankee candle lit right under your nose. The oil itself is easy to apply and works great. There was no more itching or pain from dry skin and my beard looked healthy. The only problem was the smell. It has a very strong vanilla scent that made me sick, especially in the mask. Of course, this experience might be different for you, or maybe there was too much vanilla in my batch. In any case, the oil is excellent, the smell is pleasant but too strong.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Cord shorter than other picks
