fits 2002 TJ Jeep. I used this to close the autoshift panel. The light burned out and I decided to close it with that instead of changing it. it looks better. I simply removed the handle, lifted the cover that covered it, plugged it in and put it back on. fits perfectly. was for a few weeks. So far, so good.

I ordered this shift boot to replace a worn one in my 2005 Saab 9-3. Upon arrival the boot felt very hard. I had to trim off the excess fabric to fit the shifter frame. As I tried to get the boot to slide over the frame of the shifter, everything snapped! Upon further examination, it turned out that the seams were not very good. I am very disappointed as the product was very well made when I received it. I think you get what you pay for!

Replaced the grip in my 2012 G37 so I also wanted to replace the worn boot. For only $12, you can't complain. Take your time and the end result will look pretty decent. My advice to anyone doing this is to have plenty of zips on hand. The red stitching may not go all the way through, so you'll need to turn it inside out and adjust the metal ring before zip tying it together. And leave room when you cut it to length. No problem if it's a bit long but too short and you have a problem.

If you have a wrx the derailleur is a bit too big so the bolts don't go all the way in and the chrome underside rattles and won't stay tight boot won't connect so hangs he just out there. These spare boots are great! The colored threads are subtle but add a lot of detail. But the quality is better than the standard shift boot. The only problem I had was with the installation, for my 1999 Subaru Legacy Gt it had a lot of extra clearance but I just drilled extra holes in it to make it work. Likewise! Can't comment on durability as I've only had it a few days but I can say it looks quality and doesn't feel cheap at all - it lifted the entire cabin. It also improved shift feel.
