Although the 48355V is slightly different than the one pictured, I contacted the factory representative who said that this slightly different CAP was a new version and a direct replacement for the 48355V . Others have commented that it is not the same and it is not. This is an updated version. Fits perfectly on my boat trailer hub. Actually, it fits a little better

It was hard for me to find these things. One broke off at the end of last season. When I found them I was glad they came in two packs. I ended up needing a second one when I fitted the missing one as I decided to repack all the bushings and broke another one. It seems like they are a bit thicker and more durable than the originals. I will order two more and replace the other two.

Product clearly shows the number 48355 on the outside of the cap. That was my reason for buying it. It's the number on my current hats. The item sent was not as shown. They do not thread fully into the hub. You did not send me the product shown. It's too late to go back now.

Fits perfectly as expected replacing 2 caps which were over tightened at the factory and cracked by the trailer prep team. Not a design flaw, just too hard with the tool to install the original plugs.
