This is spray-painted cardboard

spray-painted cardboard is completely useless. The plastic ones can actually be packed with my gear, but this one leaves gray spray paint on my bag and everything it touches. After several touches on the same spot, you will see that the paint has rubbed off.

Pros
  • Economical, portable and accurate
Cons
  • crumpled

Too dark, doesn't work well in Lightroom

Not comparable to the WhiBal G7 card (which I consider a gray card benchmark). Lightroom chooses different white balance values on the photo where this paper is next to the WhiBal card. Using this paper to set the white balance in Lightroom gives a slight green cast compared to WhiBal in my opinion. It's also a bit darker.

Pros
  • Works with RAW or JPEG images
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Good price gray card

Not bad for the price but you get what you paid for. This is a kind of hard paper that was folded when delivered. I like the 8" x 10" format for large lenses, but only if you don't have to carry it around. With it you can cut the bag size you want and in the end there will be no problems. make a hole into it and attach some tape so you can attach it to your wrist just in case. That being said, go and buy ALSO plasticized in case it rains.

Pros
  • Genuine DGK Color Tools quality - spectrophotometer tested - best card at best price
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
