For the most part these are nice 24 inch stools. However, if you want the wooden seats to be very dark, almost black, then they will suit you. The picture shown on Revain is not true! I was going to return them but decided to sand and paint them myself to match our dining table. One nice touch is the real wood seats and you can change the color if you're comfortable enough. My wife and I bought these for our kitchen bar. When they arrived we were both immediately surprised by the quality. Paint, assembly, wooden countertops, upholstery material. For the price, these chairs can't be beat! If you're thinking about buying these chairs but are a little worried about not seeing them, you'll be surprised when they arrive! I like the stools, they are very durable. The footrest is not very comfortable for the foot when you are sitting and supporting your legs. The shipping was poor quality, the box was damaged and one of the legs was dented but repackaging the stools and sending them back for a refund would have been a big deal once the stools were taken out of the box and the damage ascertained. When I moved into my new apartment last month, I started researching all kinds of bar stools. I originally wanted these but with a back but many reviews said they were uncomfortable. The first set of stools I received had real dents and were not part of the bronze effect so I ordered a second set to compare and there was difference. The set I saved looks shabby, but the surface is smooth and the shading gives it a shabby look. I paired the bar stools with a bar counter table with a similar wood texture and they go well together. I like that all the stools are firm and I think they will last longer. They fit well and are strong. Recommend.

The stool is strong and the metalwork is of good quality. The wooden seat is flat and not contoured like other stools I've purchased from Revain. Apart from a few small scratches, sweat marks and rust spots these chairs look great. They appear to have a transparent protective case, which is nice too. The stain color is a very nice dark walnut and the texture on the seats is very smooth to the touch. So far I am very happy with this product. The general build quality seems very solid, especially for the price. Please pay attention to the following details: 1. The wooden seat is slightly darker than the advertised photo. However, it worked better for me as it matches my black pearl granite even better than expected.2.
