This lovely set was purchased by my husband as a gift for his new blue suit. The blue goes perfectly with the suit. Last Sunday, my husband received compliments from 15 people who noticed the tie's bright colors. It was just this morning. He hadn't yet worn cufflinks or a tie clasp. The size of the tie is also absolutely stylish. I wholeheartedly recommend this set as a gift for gentlemen with discerning tastes. The price on Revain.com is also very fair.

Striking but not fun. The blue color is a bit more muted in natural light than in the picture, but that's a good thing. Every wardrobe should have a few pieces that really stand out. The pocket square and cufflinks are great too. There was even a tie pin that I have never worn. Very happy with this purchase.

What a beautiful tie! The gold thread has an almost metallic effect, which makes it stand out against the rich black background. These ties cost a dollar or two more than a Barry Wang tie, which I own several of. I love the patterns and colors by Barry Wang and am checking out a few more that I have in my basket for future reference. Every time I look at them, I find a tie or two I like and add them to my shopping cart.

I don't usually write reviews but since nobody else mentions it I just feel like I should. I don't know about other colors but on the gold/black the gold was actually much lighter than the pictures and looks very cheap and fake. I thought it was a matte, muted gold color, but it's very light, almost yellow gold. Ugly and I'll probably never wear it. Just something to think about before you buy.
