The faucet cover is as strong as a faucet! Doesn't prevent bruising, but can cause it. I sent the product back and ordered a soft whale instead.

My son loves his Diego spout cover! On the other hand, I deal with it. He shares my bathroom so every time I shower I have to take it off or put it back on his bathtub faucet. Not a major inconvenience, but it would be really nice if the faucet could be protected (strong/durable plastic lid with smooth lines) without interfering with the shower mechanism.
