Very disappointed, should have looked at how it attaches to the lens

Those lens hoods that screw on from the inside instead of the outside are terrible. The lens cap does not snap securely when these types of lens hoods are attached, the filters do not attach properly, and I lost my original lens cap as a result.

Disappointed Good for Camera & Photo

Screwed onto my 49mm lens. When I was AFRAID to unscrew it, it was INTENTIONALLY screwed to the lens and ended up scratching the glass when it suddenly came loose. I also cut my hand with the ring that holds the lens and lens hood together trying to remove it from the lens. Don't buy this junk

Doesn't work well when used with a UV filter

Given the price, this lens hood seems like a great option for my new Canon M50 kit lens. The problem is that I also wanted to protect the lens with a UV filter. I have found that if you attach a UV filter to a kit lens and then attach a lens hood to it, the lens hood moves too far away from the lens, revealing the edge of the lens hood when the lens is at its widest position located.
