I got it to play with my cat and they certainly see no problem with it! I only wish it was a switch to turn it on and off rather than a button you have to hold, but frankly I would probably leave it on and drain the battery in that case.

This one is WAY less expensive than the ones I have had in the past - no problems with range (occasionally I am in a large auditorium - in which I move around), the laser is strong and easy to see, the additional on/off switch is brilliant, and it's small and portable. The cat loves it and he can get plenty of exercise without me doing anything more than pressing a button. Loading the battery is a bit of a challenge. I used a tiny slot head screwdriver like the ones for glasses to pry the battery cover off. Good deal for the money. Can't say anything regarding powerpoint presentation.I'm retired.

This one is VERY slender, classy-looking, easy to hold and use, the dongle is super-mini and stores in the end of the "clicker". A single battery seems to last forever.
