My grandson stepped on my daughter's MacBook and smashed the screen. I looked at several options and this one was highly rated by other buyers for a decent price. Everything fits perfectly and installation was fairly easy. I've hand made screens for iPhone and iPad so I had a chance. A little mechanical dexterity helps a lot, but there are videos to walk you through it and you can do it. It still works great and they are very happy with it.

Extremely disappointed with this item. I wasn't aware that these were remanufactured parts (a very misleading practice) which are not listed anywhere in the description. I contacted the seller for a solution (it was 90 days later) and basically offered NO SUPPORT and did NOT stand behind the product. Problem: The screen is very shaky and the hinges are beyond repair. A new LCD screen is required. I will take my case to the next level to find a proper solution.

I bought this display to replace a cracked screen on my MacBook Air. The product arrived quickly and in excellent packaging. However, the antenna cable did not meet OEM specifications. You will find it very difficult to get the antenna cable from the display to the connectors in the dedicated channel. When I tried to replace the new display with the same as the stock display, the antenna cable broke. I would advise against screwing the antenna cable into the loops as this provides sufficient…
