The right tool for the job

When connecting monitors or a TV to a streaming device or PC, transmission and picture loss must be considered if the device is properly supported. This cable is designed and manufactured to deliver a quality picture every time. And that's exactly what it does.

This is for HDMI output to DisplayPort input

All my life I could not figure out how to connect my PS5 to a monitor via DisplayPort. I bought all the cheaper adapters only to find out they were for display port to HDMI and I needed HDMI to power the display port. You need this if your monitor has a dp input.

Works as advertised

Provides an interface for HDMI and DisplayPort monitor inputs from HP laptops. The display is clear with no artifacts. Generally happy with the performance and it's nice to have a slightly longer USB cable that plugs into either side of the laptop. Other converters had much shorter USB cables, so be sure to check your configuration.

Don't buy for Series X until they update

Great cable but not if you plan to use it for Xbox Series X at 1440p at 120Hz. It's not the cables either - as of 4/10/21 the Series X can't use a PC monitor that doesn't use the standard VESA timing charts (that's pretty much it, by the way), meaning this cable only works with a few current monitors. on the market for 1440p@120. This allows: 1440p@60 and 1080p@120, but not 1440p@120.

Supports 1920 x 1080 @ 144Hz resolution

Received CableCreation's HDMI to DisplayPort adapter today and was able to connect it to the HDMI port of a VAVA USB C hub that came with my HP Envy x360 15 inch (which only had 1 USB-C Thunderbolt connector). From there I was able to use a DisplayPort cable and connect the CableCreation to the DisplayPort adapter on my BenQ XL2411 (24") monitor and get 144Hz (143, something like Hz was the exact number according to my Windows As a result, I can see 144Hz at 1920x1080 (the recommendedโ€ฆ
