This adapter works as stated by the seller. There are similar products with higher quality and they are sold at a higher price but this works as advertised. I leave it for my simple needs.

This item connects to my Samsung curved monitor and my work laptop. I work from home and this article is perfect! It adapts to HDMI for the small square connector that comes with my Surface Pro laptop. Great price and arrived just in time.

With 7 grandchildren coming and going and all with iPads, tablets and phones one of them definitely needs a charge. I just hold the adapter, plug in one of these and they charge FAST. I bought a pair. One for each charging station. I personally use them to charge my Bluetooth, but you must have your own adapter.

I bought them to connect my kids Mac books to my TV so they could see a bigger screen at their school at home. They have a special adapter that comes with the MacBook. The Samsung TV worked fine for the first hour, but then the problems started. This would make the TV flicker but never project the laptop screen onto the TV. After several attempts I had to give up.

I bought an HDMI adapter that was literally advertised to work with my Mac, but it doesn't. The stupid thing didn't fit in any of the slots and I'm pissed I wasted my money. I bought this adapter 5 minutes after receiving my first order and it arrived within a day. That works great. The screen quality matches my Mac. This item was great until it was. The construction is clearly very cheap plastic, but I didn't care as it worked. However, this component failed after two months. I confirmed it was indeed that component by plugging the HDMI cable into a different monitor and confirmed it wasn't a Thunderbolt port by checking the Thunderbolt->DVI port on the same monitor checked. You get what you pay for with this bogus savings product.

Pro:1. Decent price for two solid adapters. The material is durable so you don't have to worry about cable wear and tear.2. Doesn't need any additional driver to work. It's pretty much plug and play. It also stays in the slot very well.3. Works with almost all mini display ports.4. Has a nice cover for you to keep the mini display port closed and clean.5. No heat or video problem if you wiggle or shake the adapter.6. Connects easily to an HDMI cable and holds up very well.
