I like it on my standard P3. I only had to drill one hole but it was worth it. The phone no longer wobbles. very durable and no longer disturbs the antennas. Brilliant!

If you're looking to add a tablet mount to your Phantom 3 stock controller, stop fumbling and get one. There are alternatives, but this one is very durable and well thought out.

I modified the Phantom 3 standard. Ideal for iPad 9.7. Has an aluminum lever. Very stable. Be sure to order the ALL18548 Aluminum Threaded Insert. Make installation much easier.

I bought this in combination with a Pro Tablet Adapter Plate Holder so I can use my iPad instead of my iPhone when flying the Mavic. This clip fits the iPad well and is of decent quality. I'd say MavMount is the best option overall, but it's bigger and heavier. This mobile device holder, combined with an aluminum plate, comes in handy when traveling and takes up its place.

One of my favorite upgrades to my phantom 3 standard. Fits perfectly on my iPad mini and holds it in place. The holes are a little tricky to drill in the right place, but a small, very small Dremel made them perfect. Many videos on YouTube will help you with this. Measure at least 3 or 4 times to make sure you got it right, otherwise it will bind and not fit at all. Overall very happy with this purchase.

I have a DJI Phantom 3 Standard with a mobile plastic device holder for my iPhone 5S. The small screen was very difficult to watch and was shaking so much that it was difficult to see when flying. This device holder holds my iPad Air 2 without wobbling. I had to drill a hole in the remote housing but youtube videos showed very clearly how to do this modification safely. That works great.

I did NOT receive the ORIGINAL inspire 1 holder with aluminum bracket, I received the Phantom 3 holder with plastic bracket. The box has a label over the DJI label that says Inspire 1. I think someone is renaming the Phantom 3 part to say it's for Inspiration 1. This is a total rip off! The reason I bought this was because the inspire 1 has a stronger aluminum bracket on the device mount. It shows the aluminum bracket in the picture. Beware! I am returning this for a refund. Not a happy camper!

Received today (Prime) and installed an hour ago. Like others, I adapted this to my P3S DJI Phantom. Since DJI does not have the means to build a tablet mount into the base model drone, we are forced to modify our equipment with such parts.
