Extremely soft, the grip is very flexible. The metal inside the handle is too thin, there is very little pressure, and it bends and warps. If you use cold-pressed natural soap, there will be no foam at all. It might be ok for kids but for me it was a waste of money. I wouldn't have bought it if I had known.
