Well built and strong docking wheels.

Wheels arrived on time and intact. The hardware is very solid and well made. The bike is very easy to assemble. I would recommend checking the log height for quality control as you had excess material and needed some filing. Filing was necessary to prevent the washer from holding the wheel. Small fix, but now both work fine. Already saved a track on the boat.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Sad technique

Great but a suggestion for improvement

I can't provide installation information because my marina insists. I'm not sure how they will withstand ultraviolet rays, we'll have to wait for that. Air pressure is applied through a large hard plastic screw. I had to look for a portable air compressor. I think I could take the wheel off and take them to the stationary supercharger (hmm why didn't I think of that sooner). You will need a long, blunt hose (about 3/4 inch) to hold and seal everything while pumping. I had to inflate too much…

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Bad design: tweezers

The stand is unthreaded so no screw will fit. Therefore, the ball cannot be fixed on the axle. I tried driving the screw into the rack so the threads caught on the metal - it just stripped the screw. Crazy that someone is selling this as a product that can actually be used. There are several reviews with the same problem.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • No instructions

Useless scrap

The center shaft arrived unthreaded rendering it unusable. There were also burrs on the shaft so the wheel didn't spin freely. The plastic collar on the wheel was too long to fit on the shaft. Very badly done

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

You need mods for full protection depending on what boat you use.

Great product but depending on the boat it can also cause damage. The nose flare can depress the fender down as it rolls in, fully exposing the bolt and washer at the top, creating 1/16" grooves in our awcraft.2000 Blue Flag paint and gelcoat. Nearby was a small black rubber stopper that offered no protection. Then I modified the roller by removing it from the bracket and cutting 1 inch of tubing from the top. Put two tennis balls on the bottom stand to raise it and screw the tennis ball up…

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Obsolete
