Not as bright as expected

While not as bright as expected, they still accurately reproduce colors in my light tent. At 105 watts, they should be significantly brighter than they really are. Also, the pears are huge.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Great for portfolio lighting

So these bulbs are huge, but they put out great light. I'm an artist and I need to take photos to document my work. I am using a canon tsi3 revolving dslr. Once I set the white balance to the Kelvin output everything works great, being closer to bright daylight there is a 'cold' tint (at least in my opinion) which put me off at first. but after minimal editing, the photo (I use the Pixlr online editor) looks very good.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Dim Set

Purchased for Plants for Lighting and Studio

I bought this for my Sun Opener plant and it works great. This slow growing plant has been growing like weeds since I hung this lantern in my tent. It's not hot so I can stick it straight onto the branches that are starting to bud and they grow so fast. 😀Also, I think the wavelength of this lamp might help with the winter blues. In the near future I plan to use this light the next time I need a photo from my lightbox for my listing. I am happy with this lamp.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • I'll write later

Delicious. Almost daylight in my bedroom at night. Less eye strain.

This is really amazing for my huge master bedroom with a very high ceiling. Extremely bright and less eye tiring when using a laptop. 105W/500W (equivalent power output) Spiral CFL Daylight. Suitable for E26/E27 plugs. 5500K (I would like 5000K). 4500 lumens (I would like 7000 lumens). 9 inches long, diameter: 3 inches. Color rendering index: 85-90. ROHS and CE certificate. Lifetime: > 8000 hours (preferably > 80,000 hours). Up to 80% energy savings (compared to a 500W incandescent lamp).

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons

Great lights that last a long time

I've been using them for a few years now. They work as plant and photo lights, but I mostly use them where I need a lot of light. Got these for the garage. We have 2 porcelain ceiling lamps to which shop lamps were connected with adapters from the socket to the plug. They never gave us enough light so we took them off and put in these 2 bulbs. Doesn't matter!. Firstly I like the brightness and secondly the color of the daylight. I hate yellow lights and most houses have those nasty soft white…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
