Just a bad product in the photo & photo category

Bad lining, bad tailoring, bad design. Three of them in nine months (couldn't believe it, just couldn't believe it), all with the same destiny, the same quality.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Modern

Good bag, too small

I chose the wrong bag. I sent it back and received a regular size bag that works fine. Domke is great but make sure the size of the bag suits your needs. I think the dimensions given are a bit optimistic.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast

High quality bag! on camera bags

This was my first Domke bag as I have been a Think Tank and Lowepro user for a number of years. I was really impressed with this bag but unfortunately had to return it as it was too small for the gear I was using. But the quality of this bag is superb and I will be checking out their other bags in the future.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Empty

typical house on camera bags

well made and a bit more expensive than other bags storing lenses upright is great if you are careful or only transport the body and 2-3 lenses with flash in rough terrain. Don't take it on a hike or anywhere else the bag might fray.

Pros
  • complete set
Cons
  • safety

Excellent discreet camera bag

It's a bit smaller, expect it to fit a single height DSLR and maybe three or four smaller lenses along with flash etc. Or a digital camera and accessories or two, or What ever. They can't handle the sheer weight of L lenses. All Domke cases are tough, and this one is no exception. I think I've only seen old lines, and after 7 years in the sun, cold, damp, hot, my F-6 looks brand new. There are no complaints at all. I cut off the Domke tag on mine to make it less visible.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • It's ok

I personally love the minimalist bag

I have owned and have owned these early Domke bags for 20 years. I personally like the minimal pocket. Domke does it very well. I've had all the other heavy soft stuff and I always go back to basics. The only item I would change is the steel clips. Due to the fact that the bag is designed to "carry no weight", simply attach the lid. I am very careful when opening or closing the lid as sometimes I can hit the camera, lens or flash with the steel clasps. I plan to do a "nylon zipper" mod on this…

Pros
  • value for money
Cons
  • style 90
