The ONLY all-round bag for the professional photographer is classic

For me the best all-round bag in the world. My first bag lasted over TWENTY years and was still lasting, so I gave it away on Craigslist. The new one stays the same but of course the fabric fibers are new and much stiffer. I use other types of bags for day trips but I LOVE this bag for storage and portability.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Too long to wait

The more I use it, the more I like it.

Classic bag. It breaks well. I use it to carry a Sony A7II with 50mm lens attached, FE 16-35, Fe 70-200, 43m flash, flash trigger, extra batteries, filters, flash bender, memory cards, etc. There's probably room for an extra lens, but you'll want to keep it in your bag or use softer apertures. This is not a waxed/weatherproof version and offers little weather protection. For use in dry climates, it's as strong as a nail.

  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Poor

Very happy with this bag

Very happy with this bag. I needed a very large bag to carry two bodies and lenses and I love that I can remove the bottom panel to fit the bag snugly to my body which makes it a bit more compact when I'm in crowds at certain events negotiate heavy duty in everything! The only downside for me would be that the amazing 725-310 FA-031 shoulder pad had to be ordered separately. Insert my SD cards.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Useless features

Great BUT! suitable for camera and photo

This wonderful bag could have gotten 5 stars but unfortunately the two metal clips (clips) that secure the front of the bag are a disaster. Difficult to open and pinching fingers when opening. A much better design would be the plastic buckles used in many other bags and belts that snap easily and securely. Or you could also use a Velcro strap to close it. I'm going to remove those metal clips and replace the hooks you find on the ends of those elastic cords that open and close and don't pinch…

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Some difficulties

best work bag for professionals

This is my third Domke F-2 bag. Having carried a bag on my right shoulder for almost 30 years, I never cease to be amazed at how well this bag works, or should I say how well I work with a bag. I do a lot of different shoots, sports, news, commercials and I load it up with different lenses, flashes, batteries etc. every day and it's always ready to access whatever I need. Speaking of subjects. I have a lens spacer in the middle so I can mount 2 Nikon D3 bodies on the sides. Pretty tight, but…

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • will be added later

My first upgrade bag

I used my old Nikon D5300 kit bag for about 4 years before finally opening it. That's a good thing, because I collected more equipment and it didn't fit anymore. So, I was looking around and came across this Domke F-2 bag. It looked good, read the reviews and people seemed to like it, but all the pictures I saw made me think this bag was HUGE and I didn't want a "huge" bag just something that would fit in the Camera bag fits 3 lenses, flash and more. So I bought it anyway for lack of…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Little repairability
