💥 Dorco ST-300 Platinum Razor Blades: Buy 1 Box, Get 100 Blades! Review

I hated paying Gillette Corporation a lot of money for a close shave. I used a single blade when I was younger and came back after 30+ years. This box lasts a full year and saves me over $500. I'm not sure why more people in the US don't use single blade razors, everyone else in the world does.

It is very profitable to buy blades in such quantities. Do like me: buy one of the sample packs (there are many at Revain) and find the brand you like. Then you decide to do something big like this. Everyone swears by their favorite brand. Don't listen to them because everyone's skin and beard are different. Although I don't think the Dorco DE blade is the best of the platinum coated stainless steel blades (I think it still deserves 5 stars because I think they're a great buy ( less than 10 cents per blade. fantastic price) and better than many. These are incredibly smooth blades. For some reason I prefer dry shaving and they have absolutely no stretch when I use them. One blade is enough for several shaves. So this package will last longer than the $5 plastic straight razor you might be using. Dorco is my favorite brand!

Tried 3 blades and either I had a bad batch or they just didn't fit me and cut my face. They were definitely not as smooth and sharp as the DORCO ST-301 which come in plastic cases. I've been using them for years with amazing close shaves. Get them instead. Giving it 3 stars means it's good value for money and might suit someone else.

I've tried 4 brands in small batches and they've been consistently the best. Others were Wilkinson, Persona and another Chinese brand that I don't remember. Other brands had terrible quality control: some blades were just dull, and at least one (Persona) was so bad I had three cuts from the first shave. I don't have a thick beard so I shave 10-12 times with these blades. That's about 30 blades a year, so that's enough for me for three years.

There seems to be a consistency issue with Dorco blades. They're fine if you have a good blade, but I had dull ones right away. Going forward, I will focus on Personna Blades.
