I had to change

The wire cross-section on this connector differed from the wire cross-section on the car. I had to buy special (and expensive) butt connectors to make it work.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • The presence of an upgrade

Super Heavy Duty Almost Too Much

Super Heavy Duty Almost Too Much, excellent but the connecting pieces are also very long so you can adjust it to suit your needs. Made in Taiwan, but no problem in this case.

You may be luckier than me

Worked about 2 months and melted. This is probably an electrical issue with my jeep, not the adapter. With this adapter I no longer take any risks. Maybe you're luckier than me.

Pros
  • Good physique
Cons
  • Makes me angry

My jeep's fan motor has failed causing the .

My Jeep had a bad fan motor that was drawing too much current. As a result, this cork burned out. I cut out the old one, crimped this wire harness and replaced the resistor and fan. Problem solved.

Pros
  • Handsome
Cons
  • Some Flaws

No heat shrink, that's no good

This connector comes with crimp terminals which I had trouble making a secure connection with. Also, the instructions don't say whether or not the plastic covers on the connectors were heat-shrinkable. I assumed they should be because they have to consider where they are and how many amps they have to draw. It doesn't and I just burned the plastic caps and wires to shrink them. For this repair I would use a solder joint with shrink wrap.

Pros
  • good
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Does the job and includes crimp connectors

They were wired at least one size larger than standard. The Q&A lists 16 gauge, but it looked more like 14 to me. The wires themselves weren't marked as gauge. Not in the photo but there were four crimp connectors in the kit so there is nothing else to buy. That being said, the connectors that came with them were yellow and large, which is commonly used for 10-12 gauge wire, so they were larger than they should have been. If I had to do it all over again I would buy this harness but use smaller

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only
