Description of Dorman H36672 Hydraulic Brake Hose

Direct replacement hydraulic brake hose is application specific. Quality construction ensures strength, chemical and thermal resistance for longer life. Brake hoses with banjo end fittings include new copper washers to ensure proper sealing. All brake hoses are tested up to 4,000 pounds per square inch to ensure safety standards are met. Integral brackets, if applicable are included to ensure proper fit and ease of installation.

Don't bother! Waste of money!

Based on our own experience, this brake hose doesn`t live up to its claim .The hose turned out to be too short for our automotive APPLICATION and we ended up having to buy a new one. The only pro is that it was easy to install. However, the cons outweigh the pros as the defective length resulted in a significant amount of inconvenience and extra expense. We would not recommend this product..

Brake Hose Failed Under Pressure

The Dorman hydraulic brake hose was a disappointment... Automotive enthusiasts expecting a reliable product will be sorely disappointed as the hose failed spectacularly during testing causing dangerous driving conditions. After I put it to the test, it was clear that this was not a product that could be trusted. While the price might be APPEALING, the cost of the cons far outweighs any pros..

Suitable for a '69 Camaro. Good for the price

Although Amazon's Auto-Check says it won't fit the '69 Camaro, it fits perfectly. The only downside was that one was missing the copper washers and the one that came with the washers was the wrong size (metric), too small, the screw wouldn't go through. Also the ends of the blocks are not made of brass. They're steel, but for the price you can't go wrong. point approved.
