I really like this weighted blanket. I have a 15 pound blanket. I tried Cotton Friends and got really hot. I went for one with bamboo because I've always heard they're cooler. It just feels cool. I find it's cooler than the cotton I've tried. I get hot with it now and then, but not that much and not that much. The weight distribution is excellent. This is a soft and smooth comforter. I definitely recommend this blanket instead of the cotton blanket.
