This is the best Dove soap ever invented. I couldn't find it anywhere. I know they sell them in New York at those little mom and dad stores (that's where I bought them). Now that I live in Florida I couldn't find that particular beauty cream bar. It's a very different smell than white bars. This beauty cream is made in Germany while White Dove is made in the USA. Smells OK but I'm pretty sure it's a fake Dove soap. I ordered a pack of 12 and they came as 12 individual bars wrapped in shipping material. If you order a 12 pack from Dove it will normally come in Dove branded packaging. Also, the Dove box is in Arabic or similar. Finally, it doesn't have the moisturizing aspect that Dove soaps usually have, and if you get in your eyes it will burn you a lot more than regular Dove, which I think underlines that it's fake. Now I see that others have mentioned this in reviews: This is the European version. I'm a bit misled that the seller didn't list this in the description as it's a noticeably different scent (if you've been using Dove for a long time you might notice) and each stripe seems smaller. Even the shape of the dove on the soap was not clearly engraved. The packaging wasn't very good either, even making me wonder if I bought a fake.

Purchased this type of Dove in Ross. I fell in love with the scent straight away! As soon as I went out, I found it wasn't at my local Wal-Mart or Target. After researching and reading other reviews, I found out that it's not very common here in the States. I can't imagine that I will never experience this special pigeon. Leaves my skin soft, lathers great and doesn't have a strong odor like a white streak. Do not get me wrong; I love everything about the white stripes but this is my favorite.

I've been using Dove soap since I was a kid, but this version of it smelled so strong and toxic I had to keep it outside the house. I couldn't use it or be around so I gave it away. It also had a foreign inscription on the side. This is no ordinary Dove soap. I will never buy again, waste of money.

Should have read the reviews! This is not the US version of Dove. This is definitely the Euro version. If I had known that I wouldn't have bought it as I don't like this scent. This is the same scent as Dove Exfoliating Bars in the US. They're also smaller, which isn't a bad thing, but the price isn't worth it. Not really a loss, but I won't buy it again.
