Works great in accessories and accessories

Love this item. It's a one stop shop for all your conversion needs. It really helps you if you have an old VGA only monitor or need DVI. Absolutely to suggest. The resolution is great too.

DP to VGA, HDMI, DVI

Likes: 1) small, extremely portable, lightweight, similar in size to a video streaming dongle. 2) Allows connection of various monitors using ports (VGA, HDMI, DVI) of DP (DisplayPort output to video source). Dislikes: The cable is only 5.5 inches long. (about).

Not suitable for HDMI

I bought this adapter because all the reviews were positive and got almost 5 stars. For some reason, after receiving the adapter, I cannot see how this HDMI adapter has received positive feedback. The end of HDMI adapter is different in size or shape from HDMI. See photos of HDMI and Belin. It's more of a box shape. It didn't fit in my laptop. Hence "one" star.

I connect all my devices to DisplayPort

I like that I can connect multiple devices to the same port, but wish they could all work at the same time instead of just being one device. And if you connect VGA and HDMI, it goes to HDMI, so you can only connect 1 at a time. I've been diligently looking for a switch that will select a port aloud for me and I haven't found one, so I had to settle for that.

Does what it is designed to do

This only supports one monitor device, if you are looking for daisy chain triple monitors you are wrong. However, this will ensure that the video and audio play as expected. The ends of the DisplayPorts are narrow enough to fit a four-port graphics card. With the MST adapter, I can add them and still run 6 monitors with no degradation through the monitors' HDMI-to-HDMI port.
