Dr Comfort Therapeutic Diabetic Extra Review

This is the second pair of these shoes I have bought for my 90 year old FIL. Those are the only shoes he wears now. His ankles/feet swell up from time to time and he finds it easy to slip on and off and adjust these shoes. They sit comfortably on his legs and he is so happy with them. They look well dressed or in casual shorts. Thank you!

These shoes fit well and the Velcro straps make them really easy to get on and off. They look great and are comfortable, but after wearing them for a long time they start to rub on your feet. This will likely improve after the shoes have been worn for a while to break them in. The only negative I have to say about these shoes is that they do NOT have a non-marking sole. These shoes leave little footprints all over the floor. They have excellent traction and I have never noticed them slip on any

This shoe was too big for my husband's 15W shoes. Not half the size so had to go back. All other shoes we ordered in this size fit perfectly. So this tells us that the problem is in production. Strongly disappointed! I have to say that these are very nice shoes.

I bought these in a 10W (his old size was a 9 1/2) for my dad who has swelling in his feet and ankles. The width and depth seemed better for his toe but was too wide for his heels and being diabetic we don't need blisters so I'm going back. Also, these shoes are quite heavy. I might try the same style in a different size as he liked the color.

Great shoe! My husband has braces or braces and they work great in this shoe. He also suffers from neuropathy and of all the diabetic shoes we have bought these shoes seem to us to be the best. I like Velcro. It doesn't look like old people's shoes. A doctor even scolded me for not buying orthopedic shoes! This is the second pair we've bought but that's because he kept getting them wet while fishing!

great product. The husband now wears a brace below the knee/ankle. It looks classy and the density of the sole goes well with inserting a brace into a shoe. Also easy to put on with Velcro. Various insoles are included with the shoes. quality product.

Very comfortable from the start. Comes with a shoehorn and a very impressive arch support insert. I have arthritic fingers. Immediate relief. The ride is very pleasant. I have very bad knees and they seemed to put less pressure on my knees when I was driving and moving my foot back and forth.
