This is the perfect replacement for the very expensive halogen office lights

With exactly the same vertical dimension as the old halogen lights I used, this LED is the perfect replacement. Older bulbs tended to burn out relatively quickly and cost at least $5 a bulb to replace, not to mention they were hot and used a lot of fuel. These LEDs are a slightly different color and the shape of the cone of light they emit is slightly different, but it's so close to what I needed and now I have bulbs that probably last 10-20 years and use some energy . power and offer the same…

Light, good colour, great support

They are very light and have a nice warm colour. But the lens of one of them fell off (and hit me in the head!). I tried to glue it back on but the heat melted the glue. Works well without a lens. Oh yes, they are quite warm. Another failed completely, blinking intermittently at first and then becoming very weak. Was in operation for 9 months, approx. 12 hours a day. The other 5 still work. Nice bright color and good beam control but no dimming

Very nice LED bulb, one of the few I've found in this configuration with a short neck and a standard E26 screw in the base. My wall unit had 35W halogen bulbs of this type. I wanted to switch to LEDs to reduce power consumption, increase brightness and reduce heat. I can't use the more common PAR 16 long-neck lamps because they protrude beyond the decorative plate and the front of the lamp becomes visible.
