Burlap is softer. I washed everything before use hoping it would soften a bit. My son removed the sheets the first night and pulled an old duvet from the closet to use. I want to return the money!

My daughter really wanted this and it's really pretty. The sheets are soft and comfortable. The blanket needs a few more washes to get soft, but it looks lovely. It was a great value as it included a duvet, sheets and pillowcase. Definitely recommend it!

Overall I think it was a good purchase. But for this price, I would like the colors not to fade after the first wash (yes, I washed at cold temperature), but they have completely faded, and the "quilt” itself is not very warm. I would recommend a different bed if you are willing to pay that price.

Updated 7/20/2019 Haven't heard from anyone. I will not order again. I ordered this set for my 2 year old son as I'm not a fan of characters or themes at all. For my husband, who wanted bold colors and wacky Disney characters throughout, this seemed like a great compromise.
