I just got these boots so we haven't been to the snow yet but I'm really impressed with what I see, especially for the price . My daughter wears a size 8-9 and I chose a size 10 to have room to grow. I found them a little big but she put them on and wouldn't take them off so I think they work! very soft and the lining is fluffy and feels very warm. Compared to all the others I've looked at at Revain, I chose this pair because they have a side zip which makes them very light.

I bought my son gray fur boots with zippers. I bought these because of the zipper so they are easy to put on and take off and of course it is a lot easier to put on and take off the baby. I also find that the zip is more secure in the snow as the velcro sometimes clogs with snow and loses grip. The upper part of the boot is made of rubber and the outer material appears to be water-repellent. Fur lining throughout the interior of the boot for warmth. The laces allow you to tighten the calf/ankle

I really want to give these boots five stars because they are cute (so cute), warm, well fitting, appropriate and well made, but there is one big flaw. They are waterproof and non-waterproof. When we live in the upper Midwest, we might have warm days when the snow melts and turns to wet mud, but we also live in frigid temperatures just as quickly. No insulation protects a wet foot from frostbite in extremely cold temperatures. I wouldn't pay attention to that if the boots dry quickly and well…
