Great for soy sauce and other liquids

We bought two of these when we moved to a new house. This thing is great for soy sauce (shoyu). However, we tried using a different one for olive oil and it didn't work at all. Maybe the oil was too thick and just ran out of the top of the dispenser and spilled down the sides. We threw it away and still use another one for our soy sauce. If you're going to use this for soy sauce then I think this product is great, but if you decide to use the right thing for something else you might reconsider.

  • Looking forward to this

  • Large and bulky

The pros and cons are listed here, but it definitely drips

Pros: Pressure pumps are good for short pulses to control flow. If the bottle falls, it won't spill a ton of sauce on the table because the neck is hermetically sealed. It drips a little when laid on its side. Cons: It drips a little on the table (2-3 times) when you're done with it and it drips on the side of the glass. You will need a saucer or towel underneath and should dry off before putting in the fridge. It's way better than using our store bought can which leaked over the rim and…

Works great for storage and organization

I bought this dispenser in addition to a similar dispenser I have but without the top button. I wanted two completely different types so I knew which donor had gluten free tamari and which had traditional shoyu. They both work fine. I slightly prefer the option without the top button as it's easier to clean. If you have kids or cats and keep it on your desk, maybe the top of the button will save you the trouble of cleaning up a shoyu puddle one day. By the way, the packaging says that this…

Does NOT close, works

If you are an occasional user and keep a year old bottle in the fridge this is not what you need. Bottle is ok. The knob lets air into the bottle during serving to control the flow rate. This

Great starting quality, not good for regular use

If you use a lot of soy sauce or other liquid condiments but want to drizzle them with something tastier, this is a great solution. After removing the product paper, it looks really elegant and modern. The spout is metal and the button on top is plastic, but it feels nice to press and doesn't feel cheap at all. To use, tip the soy sauce dispenser over your food and press a button to release precise drops of soy sauce. When you put it back on the table, the soy sauce won't drip even if you press

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Too boring
