Always good to have one of these, but keep it out of reach. Very pointed and sharp. Good for a number of things. Like the pen, size and tip. Good value for money.

This owl has all the qualities of a good owl except it's too big for my bias binding which is why I bought it. In general, it's useless!

It stretches the fabric but not wide enough. I think I need a second one and this one will be mainly for the eye holes. I never turn down tools when I have them, and this is a good awl to start with, but it doesn't make the holes big enough for the 00 socket.
