As a result of using this product, I found that the silicone acted as a buffer between my iron and delicate fabrics, preventing any potential damage. Highly recommended for those looking to make ironing a breeze.

I put my mini iron on it. After 5 minutes I couldn't touch the bottom of the silicone pad. It burned to the table and melted so badly it had to be replaced as it was in the workshop. Very thin. Do not buy!

I have several small irons when I quilt. So far this is the best I've had. I don't use the steam function so can't comment on that, but the iron is a winner. Great value for money.
