perfect size. Recommended

These lead weights from Dritz Drapery were just what I needed for our new windows. Well made, perfect size. Featured!

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • too stupid

Not heavy enough to do anything

Unfortunately not heavy enough to hold my curtains. I ended up getting the weights that fishermen use and that helped.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Weak

Sheer or lighter curtains are probably best.

These are quality curtain weights but not heavy enough to weigh down the ends of full length 84 inch grommet panels. It didn't seem to help even after adding 2 for each corner. I'll have to look for heavier weights.

Pros
  • Complete Set
Cons
  • Senior Citizen

Not hard enough. in sewing

I put four weights in a top curtain and it looks like there are no weights at all. You should also tuck them into the hem, distribute them evenly, and sew them on by hand. Nothing wrong with this item other than the description made me think they would be heavier.

Pros
  • availability
Cons
  • hard to tell

Really almost useless.

If you don't triple. Two of those weights do nothing to prevent 84-inch curtains from flare-up, much less properly curtain. For a thick curtain you need 12 pieces of such curtains per corner. I also have 25 inch linen cafe curtains and they require 3 weights per corner plus a small pleat to keep them from flaring. Two stars for being able to nail yourself if you're so inclined.

Pros
  • Perfect for DIY curtains
Cons
  • Not sure

It took more weight than I initially thought

I may have misread the product description but I was surprised that 7 of these weights were required per curtain to prevent a light breeze from blowing the curtain curtain blows . Since my curtains didn't have a bottom edge to hide the cargo, I had to pin each one with safety pins. They are hidden behind the hot tub so seeing the kettlebells is not a problem. You get the job done, it just might take longer to get done than you originally intended.

Pros
  • This package contains 4 lead curtain weights
Cons
  • Crumpled

not for outdoor use

Let me start by saying that these indoor weights are great for your needs. However, if you need weights for outdoor curtains, I would suggest these weights are not enough. We bought Sunbrella outdoor curtains for the porch and patio. We live in Las Vegas where it can get pretty windy so we need weights. After sewing on a few trial curtains, they really did nothing to hold them up, and after being blown away by the wind, the weights started flying out of the white bags and turned into flying…

Pros
  • Applies to store bought curtains that do not hang as desired
Cons
  • Not bad but...
