Very noisy and pin spacing slightly different from VGA standard

Results in poor images due to signal degradation. The cable bought as a replacement broke but still gave better pictures than this cable. Another bad buy that Revain wouldn't go back to. It looks like they knew it was bad and won't accept open package returns. Kind of a shitty way to treat customers, but that's Revane.

Pros
  • Very good quality
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Flat is better than thick

Great cable. I used it along with an HDMI to VGA adapter to connect the video output of a Yamaha RX-V371 receiver to a Hitachi CP-X400 projector. The projector does not have an HDMI input, but delivers bright and clear images even at 1080p resolution. I chose the flat cable because I needed to route the cable under the mat. Perfectly flat, without bulges. Color accuracy is excellent even at a distance of 25 feet. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not sure

Easy to hide, picture quality is excellent

I was a bit doubtful that this would look right, especially given my application (running video on a monitor over a full body metal detector) and the fact that it is very flat cables that cannot be internally shielded or use very thick wires, but that's fine. It doesn't pick up any interference and the image quality is the same as any other VGA. Time will tell how much abuse or bending/twisting this thing can take, but it's cheap enough to get more if you need it.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Easy maintainability

Decent cable for the price

I have ordered 5 of these cables and have only used 2 of them so far but both work well. I just installed them at clients last week so didn't have much time for long term reviews. However, I will update this review if any problems arise. So far these are good cables and they are definitely flat as shown in the product photos. The picture quality on the monitors they are connected to is good, with no ghosting or blurring. If I run out of 10 foot VGA cables, I'll buy more.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Very expensive

Good cable for the price

If you never have to move this cable once it's attached, you'll be fine. I use it in my class to connect my computer on my desk to my LCD projector on a cart that drives two thirds of my class so it rolls up when not in use. The cable twists too easily, but lasted longer than a similar round cable (it gets stepped on because in my area our projectors aren't ceiling mounted. I used to have to replace the round cable every semester). So far this cable has lasted a semester with no sign that I…

My house almost caught fire and my computer is a total loss.

I would put minus 10 if I could. Bought as a cable replacement and within 20 minutes my modem started crackling and smoking. Completely wrecked my computer with all my work. I work from home as a real estate appraiser and now have to redo all of my work from this week (today is Friday and my paperwork and sketch deadline) costing me my computer and possibly my job. I'm just glad I worked on my computer so my house wasn't totally lost. I am beside myself with anger at this moment.

This is a FIXED cable for VGA to 1080p

It says right there in the description! One person complains that Full Wire doesn't work, but it is VGA; Some have complained about the failure, but I have to wonder if it doesn't fit into the sustained FLEX application that the NO FLAT cable is actually designed for. Mine is 50ft long and 'fixed' from CCTV to TV and continues to deliver 1080p perfectly after 3 months - as RATED in the DESCRIPTION. This is NOT an "under the rug" solution. Mine works with MANY devices, both computers and battery

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Big and bulky

This product meets our needs perfectly. We needed a 32.5ft SVGA cable to better connect our NVR (onwote) CCTV system. We now have multiple monitors (installed in different rooms) so we can see what's happening in key areas of the most common areas of our domain. The use case is important as we are running an SVGA cable from the NVR output to an SVGA digital image splitter (replacement, now a drop) and this 33 foot cable runs from the SVGA image splitter to our TV which is running on a mobile…
