You are perfect! No more wasting paper towels!

I have always used paper towels for the same job as this one and found that they are much better and save paper towels and money! I thought they were a little pricey for what they are but once I saw how they work I was hooked! They are worth every penny as they hold up very well. They're easy to clean, just wring out some of that soap and let them air dry. It's that easy!

Food Savings - Kitchen & Dining

I usually keep a lot of groceries in stock and got frustrated when roots, veggies and herbs at the back or bottom of my fridge go bad very quickly. I've taken several steps to reduce spoilage and I can say it definitely helps! It creates a spongy layer that allows enough airflow under the food so it doesn't just sit on a paper towel or plastic. Even my herbs and peppers stay crisp longer.

They were enough to line two fridge drawers and they looked good. They are almost as thick as cardboard and.

I'll post more once I've used them for a while. They were enough to line two fridge drawers and they looked good. They are almost cardboard thin and are clear [ie the bottom of the box is visible through the inserts]. I would have preferred them thicker; and for the price mine would be a reasonable expectation. As they say, there is nothing to recommend.

HAS HE CHANGED FOR WORSE?

We have been using it for several years with great success. Bought recently. They are noticeably smaller in length and width than before. Also used to have 4 green mats and now 2 green, 2 yellow which I don't care but along with the smaller size makes me wonder if it's the same product. The first ones (big ones, all green) really kept food fresher longer, even avocados! Now that I've noticed how different they are and read some of the recent comments I really need to see if they last a month…

Prevents food from freezing in the crisper

Like most fridge/freezers, my fridge blows cold air from the freezer compartment into the fridge compartment to keep it cold. It's not a perfect system and the bottom of the fridge gets colder than the top (where the thermostat is) because the cold air sinks. The greengrocer's is downstairs, and since we bought this thing, for some reason, veggies freeze in boxes regularly, especially in the summer. Thought I'd try these foam pads and they really work!
