Description of πŸ¦† Gummed Activated Fiberglass Reinforced Duck

Aggressive water activated adhesive becomes part of the box or carton. Best used with a gummed tape dispenser machine. One must wet the tape in order for the adhesive to get sticky. Gummed paper tape is not self-adhesive. 60# kraft paper backing is reinforced with a heavy duty fiberglass filament for extra tensile strength and durability. Great for heavy duty and high volume shipping and provides a professional, quality look. Due to the fiberglass reinforcements, the tape itself is not recyclable.

Great, especially for registered mail packages.

I bought this tape primarily for use with USPS registered mail which requires all seams of the package to be protected with paper based tape. I'm sure I'll find more uses for it. My biggest concerns were: 1) Would this tape be strong enough to keep the package closed; 2) if it were strong enough to last long enough for the entire time of transportation without loosening; and 3) if it were easy to use. Just to be sure, I experimented with taking an empty "bag" out of a cardboard box and sealing…

Apply correctly and it will work well.

I have known this record since my parents sent me "care packages" during college, so there may be a sentimental attachment to this record, but I am in the process of moving and the reason Send many boxes to UPS and prepare many boxes as air baggage. This tape works very well, but based on other reviews mentioning that the edges may curl as it dries, I'd like to comment briefly on how I apply it. I don't use a sponge but a bowl of water. I cut the desired length and run the strip through the…

The only way to seal boxes forever

If you look at the reviews, you will see that the usual transparent plastic "shipping" tape does not stick to boxes, and after a while simply peels off. I myself had the same experience. So I tried this sticky paper tape instead. It works REALLY well. You simply take a damp sponge in a bowl and run the shiny side of the tape over it, then place it on top of the box and smooth it out. This stuff really stays in place! Also, it's a good surface to attach regular shipping tape, which I made to…
