The hole is too small, put more than one finger in it and I have very small hands. When you wash your brushes with soap and your hands are slippery, you can't hold them well because you can't insert your fingers properly. I am very careful to keep my brushes clean for my acne prone skin and this product has worked fantastic! I started by applying Dove Gentle Shower Scrub to a silicone gel scrubbing brush. I then stuck two fingers into the silicone makeup brush and swept it back and forth until the makeup lifted off my foundation brush. I was amazed to see how quick and easy makeup comes off! I've heard amazing things about this little thing but I'm not thrilled. Don't get me wrong, it works great mostly for small brushes, but it's too small for my large facial brushes which are always the dirtiest and need the deepest, deepest cleaning. I wish it was a little bigger so it could fit my entire brush collection, not just my small brushes.

This is amazing! I got it in the mail, forgot I had it, and washed all my brushes as usual. When I went to dry them I realized I forgot I had that little scrubber. So I decided to just rub them on and rinse them off again and right away for the first brush and for every one after that there was so much soap and makeup left in the bristles! If you use makeup brushes, I definitely recommend one of these. It has two different textures to remove all the dirt from your brushes. It's also hollow so you can stick your fingers in or grip it with your palm (the back is rounded). This is the best little brush cleaner I've found and you can't beat the price!
