Eagle Creek is always good quality. The last Eagle Creek money belt I bought had a plastic buckle and I prefer it over the metal buckle on the current model, hence 4 stars over 5.

I made a second trip with this money belt and security wise it works well, hidden and not obvious that it's a money belt except for the buckle, that a professional can recognize. It was hard for me to put in the quartered dollar bills and snap it shut. I will be switching to another brand that has a wider top to make it easier to attach bills and find them again. With that, you have to go to the bathroom to partially remove the belt and open it.

I just received this belt and am writing a review because the description is wrong. The buckle is NOT metal but plastic with a painted finish that looks like brushed metal. I ordered this strap over a competitor because I was willing to put up with the inconvenience of removing the strap at security checkpoints rather than breaking the plastic buckle. The belt itself consists of webbing with nameless nylon teeth and a metal slider sewn to it, forming a compartment. It's not the value for money…
