Great shoes in oxfords

This is my second pair of Easy Spirit Sport shoes. I don't like ordering shoes online but my local shoe store doesn't have them anymore. I ordered them in black so they go with almost everything. The shoe is not for heavy sports activities, it is very comfortable and I particularly appreciate its slim look. She doesn't look "ugly" at all. I ordered a large width to accommodate the bursitis. There isn't as much arch support as there is in a heavier hiking boot, but it's a very nice leather. They

No fashionable material just sensible shoes

I have never worn this style but I risked ordering them without seeing my eyes. They are well made and have a more pointed toe than other "reasonable boots" so they feel snug the first time you wear them. Because of the stretching of the skin, I can wear my normal size if I only wear thin socks. There is no main arch support here. So if you need to add them, you can order them by size. It's not sexy shoes, not athletic shoes, a bit chunky, but I like them because they fit my feet and aren't…

Pros
  • understandable even for old people
Cons
  • all right

A little more elegant than my normal sneakers!

I've wanted shoes for a long time that were a little dressier than my regular sneakers, but nothing special. Since I retired I don't dress much anymore, I mostly wear jeans or slacks. They fit the bill and were very reasonable for a leather shoe. They also work with casual skirts like jeans or denim. I ordered these shoes in navy blue. I have a lot of black, white and brown. Dark blue shoes are hard to find and when they are found they are either too elegant or ugly or not very comfortable. I…

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • A nuisance

Good everyday shoe but not for problem feet

I need a medium or even wide toe due to bad big toe condition but a narrow heel is an impossible combination except in hiking/running shoes. I can even wear wide ones in them because the collar keeps the heel in place. These shoes, which I bought from a medium, were just wide enough in the toe, but I got out of them as soon as I put them on. Also, the toe box is low (i.e. not deep) and doesn't pick up on the ankles. Finally, before buying, I forgot to check: the insole is not removable, so…

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Disappointed with the seller - not the product

I've worn these shoes for years and love them. However, I have recently lost a significant amount of weight and needed a smaller size. I was disappointed when I took these shoes out of the box to see that they had been worn by someone else and had broken in. The wear was not very significant. The instep of the foot was dented on both shoes and the right boot had a long (2 inch) scrape on the side. I am disabled and use a walker and when I wear them the shoes scratch even more. However, I am…

Ah, poor spirit of light! i knew you well

More than 10 years ago I would have given these shoes 5 stars for quality and durability. However, this pair I bought last year were not as good as my old size 6 (now too small). I've only worn them a few times because they hurt my right heel so badly that I had trouble walking the next day. I put them on today and now understand why they hurt my legs while the older pair didn't; the new pair is structurally wrong. The lining of the right heel is coming off the shoe and the lining underneath…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Surprising for PROBLEM HOLDING

I have narrow feet but I have arthritis and hammer toes. To adjust to my problems, I often have to wear ugly oversized shoes. These Easy Spirit shoes are good enough for me to wear at night. I can't use my orthotics in them because I didn't order them from Wide. But I assume that orthopedic insoles fit the wide version. I just ordered a second pair as a backup because I've been looking everywhere for similar shoes. Be careful though, although the laces help, they don't allow you to make the…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
