Description of 🏎️ EBC Brakes CSK197 Coil Type Clutch Spring Kit, Metallic: Superior Performance and Durability for Optimal Clutch Engagement

These are spiral wound springs using 4-8 pieces per set made from heat treated high carbon steel. EBC heavy duty spring kits have slightly thicker winding material and deliver 10-15 percent more clamp pressure. This can help reduce clutch slip or fast clutch wear on your machine. All springs get tired and should be replaced at every engine rebuild or clutch overhaul. May contain one or more extra springs which can be discarded. Fit type: Vehicle Specific.

EBC is always a good choice

Worked as expected. Helped me a lot with clutch engagement on my 2017 Grom sf. Just don't forget to buy a blank clutch disc.

Pros
  • Motor
Cons
  • Not sure

Do not buy.: Motorbike and Powersports

Clutch completely ruined. Set everything up a few times and several people with more knowledge than me helped and couldn't get it to work. Save money and buy better springs.

Pros
  • Motorbike and Powersports
Cons
  • Quality

Ideal. Noticeably different, but does not make the clutch stiff.

Perfect. Noticeably different, but doesn't bother you when you pull the clutch on the thunder. Great for my standard barrel construction. You probably want 30% or more for a short or large diameter set. Stock holes, they are perfect

Pros
  • Couplings
Cons
  • Can be retrofitted

Must be. fits engine

Such a big difference. It makes my Grom look more like a real bike. With the stock springs, the clutch barely seemed engaged enough and would slip if I rode hard. It definitely doesn't slip with these springs, and I've ridden hard on my Grom with these springs for the last 500 miles.

Cons
  • Good but not great

It is stiffer in motorcycles and weight sports

There is a clear difference between these springs and stock springs. They say it's 15% more, I'd say that's a fair statement. Slightly heavier clutch lever. Be sure to adjust the clutch cable when you're done installing; They want to play a lot on the liver. I forgot about that and the clutch slipped when reversing. After setup, everything works great now.

Pros
  • in cars
Cons
  • in boring packaging
