Overall cool! for hunting and fishing

This is the perfect 3-4 day backpack with plenty of storage space, a hidden compartment and built in magnetic pockets. High quality material and zippers. Arrives a little stiff but takes shape easily without becoming too soft. Great and worth the price. Put Alice in the closet after receiving this set!

Pros
  • Certificate GOLS
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great set for photography!

I bought this backpack specifically for traveling. This is a great carry-on option with a bag that won't stick to anything when you're in tight spaces. I have a professional SLR camera and lenses, a laptop and the usual travel gear. I use packing cubes and they are great for weekend photo trips. The construction is solid but not too heavy. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Easy Installation

I wanted to like it.

I really wanted to like the Switchblade. Looks great, but not as practical as hoped. The top flap can support multiple items, but makes the flap heavier. My damper is turning in the wrong direction. The bottle holders are too small. The inner pockets offer no protection for items and one of them is practically unusable due to the way it is sewn.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Cheap, used, defective zipper. Beware!

We received the backpack, it was dirty inside and the tag was torn off and taped inside. This clearly indicates that this product has been used, possibly returned and then resold to us. We were very dissatisfied. Also, one of the zippers on the backpack was broken. We honestly think it wasn't even an Eberlestock backpack! We order direct from Eberlestock and the difference in quality between these two bags is incredible.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Secret

Makes a great fishing bag

I have 3 Eberlestock backpacks, this is the smallest of the 3. The bag has plenty of room and has pocket dividers that fit in tackle boxes. The top pocket is perfect for keys, phone etc. The front pocket is large enough for a raincoat. It's a bit tricky to get a gun out of the gun bag, but it's better than keeping it where everyone else can see if it's next to your bag. So far it's adequately protected from the rain, but I wouldn't leave it on for too long. I will definitely be using this bagโ€ฆ

Great package! the best among tactical bags and backpacks

Excellent all round backpack. It's got tons of organization, plenty of easy pocket storage, and is still relatively light for its size. The side pockets easily fit a 32-ounce Nalgene or GI bottle. The main compartment has handy dividers for separating flat items, and the compartment's anti-clockwise magnetic closure works very well. My only complaint is that you have to buy the side compression straps separately and there is no way to attach the straps to the bottom of the pack for anythingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Excellent general characteristics
Cons
  • Doubtful

Redesigned, great package.

For a backpacking novice, you may think that $200 is a lot for a backpack, but after looking at several options, you realize that all you have to do is buy once cry once to get it to get the right gear. Package. To be honest, I will buy more bags from Eberlestock in the future. This is a great bag for hiking, camping and working out. I still have room in my bag but it is about 3/4 full and carries a load of about 20-30 pounds very comfortably. I love the zippered side pockets for quick accessโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Gorgeous Design
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Big hit and miss...for me

As an owner, user and huge fan of both the G2 Gunslinger and the G4 Operator, I was sadly disappointed with the Switchblade. As another review notes, the packaging design and taper make no sense. This is very impractical and would only take up usable packing space if not cramped. While I haven't actually used the one I ordered, I'm sure it's well built and durable, as are my other two Eberlestock packs. If you're looking for something to match a 10.3-inch AR with a legal documents folder, lookโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Best in its niche
