🔋 EBL BP-38 Two-Way Radio Batteries - 4.8V 700mAh Replacement Battery Pack (2 Pack) Review

I charged both batteries and tried to use them in my radios. One worked great, the other died after about 3 minutes of use. As another reviewer noted, WE consumers are quality testers! [Update 10/25/2019] The seller contacted me about my dead battery and sent me a new one for free. The new battery works perfectly. I have changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars.

So far they work great with our walkie talkies. Our other batteries were 4 years old and didn't hold a charge. They loaded well, got a lot of use, and held a charge. We keep ours on the charger to use 24/7. I don't mind replacing the batteries every few years so I can take them with me and use them around our property.

Only three of the four batteries I received are working. One was DOA. Apparently they are not checked before they are taken to the camp. Since I have three radios and three working batteries, it's not worth returning a broken one. Addendum: Jackson at Customer Service is following up on these reviews and sent me a replacement battery unsolicited. I have changed my rating to 5 stars due to EBL's outstanding customer service!

I had a set of Uniden radios almost 20 years ago that I got for free. I had them in my garage and of course when you need them you will find that the batteries are dead and you cannot use them for 10 seconds. I ordered these replacement parts and they work great. I checked my switch box at my house, flipping the switches while my wife was at the other end of the house letting me know if it was working. So far these batteries are holding up well. It's good to have these units on hand.

One of the batteries in these two sets is dead, ie. does not load. The other works fine. I didn't use the defective battery until it was too late to return it, so I stuck with it. ********************** ****UPDATE: This company became aware of my situation and offered to send me a replacement for my original order. After charging and looking for a replacement, everything works as intended. I'm glad there are still companies that value the quality of customer service. Many Thanks.

I bought 2 packs, read reviews, a lot of people seem to be getting a weak one. I have such a case, one battery is not enough for 5 gears without flashing a low-power battery.
