These babes exude subtle, understated class. It's like a gated community on your feet! *Update, after about a week of use the leather has noticeable fading and the shoe is actually not as comfortable as it was at first. So much for Ecco's famous quality, I'm blown away.

Good leather, wide enough, but the shoes are heavy and the cushioning is not enough for me. Was looking for good walking shoes for a "holiday in Europe" and they are not comfortable enough for the amount of walking a person does in a day. It's a shame because the leather is excellent and the width is great for my wide foot, but the sole doesn't offer the comfort I was looking for. But well done. Pity! I gave 4 stars because the color was a lighter brown than the sample photo. After a 12-mile hike on mountain trails, these shoes showed no damage and were reasonably comfortable even on rocky, uneven terrain and no blisters on my delicate feet. I love these shoes and they look good too. I ordered my normal size 10d and they fit perfectly. The outsole is excellent, with good grip and durable. I don't think it's a hiking shoe but what a surprise!
